FAQ’s

What is Henna?

Henna is a tropical shrub, Lawsonia Inermis. It is mostly known as Hina, the Henna Tree. The leaves of this plant are ground up into a fine powder that is mixed with other ingredients to create a paste. The paste releases a dye that can be used to color hair or adorn the body.

What is in your Henna Paste?

Aviddiva Glam uses a simple, all natural recipe for our Henna Paste. It constitutes of amazing quality Henna powder, lime juice, sugar and Bulgarian Lavender oil.

Is Henna safe for children and pregnant women?

Absolutely! Unless, you are allergic to lemon juice, sugar or lavender oil. Lavender oil is the only essential oil that is safe to use on expecting mothers. As a result, Aviddiva Glam exclusively uses lavender oil for their Henna Paste because you never know when someone is with child.

Does it hurt?

No, Henna Tattoo’s are not painful. Just imagine someone is decorating a cake and they pipe some of the frosting on your skin; that’s what it would feel like.

Do you offer private Henna Parties?

Yes, we do!

Our current rate is $100 per hour, with a minimum booking of 2 hours. The host/hostess will receive a free full hand and all finger design. Within each hour, I can guarantee around 10-12 designs (not full hand). This is a considerable savings compared to my 1:1 fee's.

Please contact us via email [email protected] or use our Contact page to discuss/finalize details and the date of your party.

A $30 deposit is required to finalize booking. The deposit will be applied towards the total cost of your booking. Deposit will be forfeited if the party is cancelled with less than 5 days notice.
